Oh they are all beautiful Jan! I see that the larger blanket has some garter stitch in the middle. Is that in the pattern or was that just one of your mods? They are all beautiful! I'm about halfway done with my blanket. I should be able to get more done now that it's Thanksgiving, which means lazy/knitting time.

Maria, it's just as beautiful in blue. Perfect for a baby boy. Love it!maritere wrote:Here is a finished pic.

Thank you, ladies. I'm partial to blue (my favorite color)! And I think this lace is a great unisex one, hence blue for a baby boy!

Yes, the brown in the biggest size, i put two garter stripes in - I have put it in the pattern for the largest and middle size - not sure how it will look on the middle size - I'll probably cast on tonight.jkubricht wrote:Oh they are all beautiful Jan! I've made some mods to the soles of the booties to improve the shape, and minor mods to the others things.
If any of you want an update let me know - I'm just battling a heavy cold so my head is a bit muzzy atm.

In my opinion, I think the medium size blanket looks good as is. Looking at the one I'm making, I feel like there wouldn't be many beautiful shells if there was a garter stripe in it. Although, I think that if it were longer widthwise, it would look great (just like the brown one you made). Maybe you could put it in as optional for the medium? I don't know, just sharing my feelings about it.JanHarvey wrote:

I'm not going to have the time. As it is, I squeezed the sweater in between my other tests. And this week is shot with my daughter home from college and my husband has time off for Thanksgiving. We'll be at my BIL for 2 days with very little knitting time. Sorry.
